Sibi Gwar: I haven't moved anywhere yet!

Niger Tornadoes attacker, Sibi Gwar has rubbished rumors he is moving to the Afonja Warriors, Kwara United of Ilorin, claiming he does not know where the reports emanated from. Sibi, who has also played for Enyimba, Lobi Stars and Kwara United denied reports he has shifted base,  He spoke exclusively to 9jafooty.

9jafooty: Sibi, can you tell us more about you rumored switch to Kwara Utd?

Sibi Gwar:i  have not moved anywhere, i am still a bonafide player of Niger Tornadoes, i haven't moved anywhere, i don't know how the rumors started, maybe because i was not dressed for the game with Dolphins, so people concluded i have moved.

9jafooty: But you were in touch with the officials of Kwara Utd?

Sibi Gwar: Yes, but they were preliminary talks, just like any other player, nothing concrete at all, i had offers from other clubs too, but like i said, i am still loyal to Tornadoes and my aim is to push with them for a continental slot, i played for Kwara before and they are still in good terms with me.

9jafooty: so what next for you?

Sibi Gwar: i am just going to concentrate on my game keep on banging in the goals for Tornadoes and hope for a call up to the Eagles.

9jafooty: Speaking of the Eagles, what do you think of the current set up?

Sibi Gwar: its a good step in the right direction and i hope it continues, it shows the local league has great talent and we can also give Nigerians something to cheer about. Coach Keshi is doing a wonderful job i must admit

9jafooty: Thanks for you time Sibi

Sibi Gwar: Any time sir, anytime
