5 TALKING POINTS FROM THE PLATEAU UNITED VS EL-KANEMI GAME.

5 TALKING POINTS FROM THE PLATEAU UNITED VS EL-KANEMI GAME.

JOHN GA'ADI IS NOT THAT BAD
After manning the goal for the 6th time this season with deputy Dele Ajiboye still on sabbatical, the journey man seems to have gradually settled into the team keeping his 3rd clean sheet of the season. He was calm in goal and wasn't his (usual) jittery self. Dele Ajiboye might has well begin to go get a place on d bench when he comes back.

PHILLIP AZANGO NEED TO BE MORE IMPOSING
He's nimble footed, skillfull, powerful and has got guile.but all these attributes are useless (forgive my language ) if AZANGO cannot impose himself throughout 90mins in a game. The best of wingers in world football are usually consistent for a long period and not just patches in a game. For the first time in an home game, he was substituted and this can only mean something, Kennedy Boboye has also noticed it to.

KENNEDY BOBOYE NEEDS A CREATIVE MIDFIELDER
After 7 matches played, plateau United have scored 12 goals and conceded just 4. Most of the goals scored have all come from rebounds from Daniel Itodo Long throws, tap in's, not forgetting free kicks from captain Golbe  Elisha. Going into the season, teams are going to find ways of defending against you. This is where a creative midfielder comes in. Someone with the panache and capability of unlocking defenses with passes. While on earth did you let BRIGHT SILAS go.

JIMMY AMBROSE HAS GOT A GREAT CANNON.
He's got great technique and he has an uncanny way of imposing himself on the opposing teams but I definitely did not know jimmy can score a belter of a goal. The former JUTH and  Giwa FC player definitely needs to find a way of getting in such scoring positions in subsequent matches.

CONFIDENCE IS DEFINITELY HIGH IN THE TEAM
As the saying goes, "shoot for the sun and if you don't reach it, you will fall amongst the Stars. That's the case with Plateau United. They came into this season looking to get into one o the continental spots. But who says you cannot win the league. It's just a matter of belief. The confidence in the team is absolutely high and it's having a ripple effect on the players which definitely is yielding results.
